Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are counting down the days until their royal baby gets here, but all the pregnancy excitement doesn't mean they're skipping date night. On Saturday, the two hit the town and caught a private showing of Tina: The Musical on London's West End.
The couple snuck in a viewing just after they got back from their royal trip to Morocco, which marks their last international visit before the baby arrives. Tina: The Musical is all about the life and career of Tina Turner—and the production's creators seemed absolutely thrilled to have the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in attendance. On Sunday, they celebrated the occasion by posting a quick snapshot of the royals at the show.
"We were thrilled and honoured to welcome the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to #TinaTheMusical on Saturday for a private visit," they wrote.
The show's star Adrienne Warren, who was personally selected by Tina Turner to play her in the show, also sent out an excited tweet that implied that perhaps Meghan and Prince Harry had been talking about catching the show prior to their visit.
"They said they’d come and they did!" she wrote. "Thank you to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It was an honour to have the opportunity to perform for you again! @KensingtonRoyal"
By now, we know that Prince Harry and Meghan have a thing for musicals. Last year they were special guests at a London charity event showing of Lin-Manuel Miranda's smash hit Hamilton. They even made remarks to the cast and crew, which included Prince Harry adorably breaking out into song.
Plus, if you remember, their first dance song was reportedly Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," so it's clear that they have a thing for '80s and '90s power divas. We know they're supposed to take it easy in the last few days of Meghan's pregnancy, but the musical sounds like it was the perfect way for them to unwind together and have a good time.
