If you're feeling excited about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new baby and really want them to know it, here's your chance. You can send them your congratulations via snail mail at their Clarence House general address—and you might even get a response from them directly.
People shares that the while anyone can wish the couple well via social media, there's also an address for cards and any other handwritten notes and gestures. Just don't forget the international stamp if you write them at:
THR Duke & Duchess of Sussex, Clarence House, London SW1A 1BA, United Kingdom
When Markle and Prince Harry got married last year, they also accepted notes through postal mail at Kensington Palace. The best part was that people who did go the extra mile to put their thoughts on paper actually got incredibly sweet thank you notes in return. The Instagram account Royal Letters shared a photo of the cards the couple sent, which included an official wedding portrait taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, an envelope stamped with Kensington Palace's official crest, and a message that read, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their Wedding and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did."
There's no guarantee the royals will write back to everyone who congratulates them on becoming parents (they're going to be super busy, after all), but there is a chance. Markle is pretty into etiquette, and she's already shown how touched she gets when people celebrate her new baby. During her New York City baby shower, each guest received a lavish gift bag that included beauty products and other goodies valued at about $428. Sure, she's probably not going to put gift bags in the mail, but it's possible that you'll get a card back—maybe even one that shows her impressive knack for calligraphy.
