Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their annual appearance Audi Polo Challenge today—which would have been the late Princess Diana’s 57th birthday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the charity event on Sunday together, where the Duchess donned her pre-royal style, rocking a casual white button down and a pair of black capri pants. She completed the outfit with a pair of black flats and wore her hair in her signature blowout look.

The two also attended the polo event on Saturday, where the Duchess was joined by friend Serena Williams to cheer on Prince Harry and Prince William during their match at the Coworth Park Polo Club. However, neither Kate nor William made an appearance at the event on Sunday.

The Audi Polo Challenge isn't just any charity event for the newlyweds, however. The affair likely holds significance in the hearts of the royal couple. Last year, the couple made an appearance at the game-- their first public appearance as a couple. The two also shared a kiss, which was caught on camera for onlookers and royal fans to see.

The couple, who have now been married just over a month, have hardly had time to enjoy their newlywed bliss: between the two of them, they've already traveled and made appearances at several different events. Last month, Meghan took her first solo trip with the Queen, during which time they stopped at a handful of spots around Chester, England.

But polo probably wasn't the only thing on the Duke's mind today: today would have been the late Princess Diana's 57th birthday. The former princess passed away over 20 years ago, in 1997, and Harry and William have made it clear that they still hold her memory very close to them.
