Another day, another Meghan Markle outfit we want to steal for ourselves.
On Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex showed up hand-in-hand with Prince Harry to the 100 Days to Peace Gala at Central Hall Westminster in London wearing a blue Jason Wu dress and a pair of Aquazzura slingback heels. She looked effortlessly chic with a navy satin clutch and kept the look simple and understated with natural makeup and loose waves in her hair.
Meghan's shift-and-slingbacks combo is the perfect easy outfit to take you from day to night, even if your days and nights don't happen to involve outings with the Queen of England and hot dates with a real prince. With such an easy, breezy (and dare we say, beautiful) vibe, the look is begging to be copied by the rest of us non-royals.
The good news? If you do want to steal her royal style, Meghan's "Portrait of a Lady" shoes are still available online—though we'd be willing to bet they'll sell out soon. (The designer is a favorite of the duchess's; she sported a bespoke pair of Aquazzura shoes for her nuptials.) The Jason Wu Crepe Sleeveless Twist Dress Meghan also donned is similarly available online at Saks Fifth Avenue—with a royalty worthy price tag attached, of course.
FWIW, Harry also stunned in blue at the event, complementing Meghan's cobalt dress with a navy suit. Because the only thing better than a date night, is a matching date night.
Though Markle frequently mixes up her outfit choices, dark blue dresses, jackets, and accessories have become a sort of staple in her wardrobe. In fact, based on her wardrobe choices from the winter of 2018, we wouldn't be surprised if she had an entire closet of blue coats and dresses hidden away at Buckingham Palace.
