As any etiquette expert would tell you, sending thank-you notes to all those who attended your nuptials, sent a gift, or wished you well is a must post-wedding—and being royal doesn't excuse you from penning those thoughtful cards. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are acknowledging everyone who went out of their way to wish them congratulations on their big day, and we mean everyone. Those who sent a card or note of congrats to the royal newlyweds have the treat of receiving an official thank-you card from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves. According to Instagram account Royal Letters, who snapped a pic of the coveted mailing, the card features an envelope stamped with Kensington Palace's crest and one of Prince Harry and Meghan's official wedding portraits by photographer Alexi Lubomirski. The sweet sentiments begin, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their Wedding and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did."
The message continues, "It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by The Royal Highness who send you their very best wishes." Now, that's going right up on the fridge!
Similarly, Prince William and Kate Middleton send you thank-you notes to royal fans who wish them a happy anniversary each year. This year, for their seventh anniversary, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sent out cards featuring a cute couple photo of their previous India and Bhutan tour and a message that read, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for the thoughtful message you so kindly sent on the occasion of their 7th wedding anniversary. It was really thoughtful of you. Their royal highnesses send you their warmest thanks and very best wishes."
