We know what you're thinking: Didn't Meghan Markle already have a bachelorette party (or "hen do" as they call it across the pond)? And the answer is yes, yes, she reportedly did. But doesn't being a royal bride-to-be give you license to have as many bachelorette parties as your little heart desires? Case in point, reports are surfacing that Meghan Markle might have a second hen party—this time, alongside fiancé Prince Harry's bachelor party (or "stag do"). How progressive!
Back in March, news broke of Markle's bach bash that reportedly took place at a relaxing resort, which is believed to be Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. E! News reported at the time that the low-key party was thrown by Markle's friend Markus Anderson, a consultant at Soho House Group. "It's just a relaxing day of good food and pampering," a source told E!, who called the early-spring bash a bridal shower. However, since showers aren't traditionally thrown in jolly ol' England, we're willing to bet that the exclusive affair at Soho Farmhouse was the bride-to-be's royal hen do. But, apparently, it was only round one!
Since some notable members of Markle's inner circle were missing from the party in March, such as Kate Middleton who was pregnant at the time and mother-of-the-bride Doria Ragland, Markle is allegedly having a second hen do to include those who couldn't be there for the first—mainly, her friends who live in L.A. and Toronto. But there'll be one key difference with this get-together, Daily Mail reports. Markle wants it to be a joint hen and stag do that includes Harry and his friends.
With pals like Serena Williams, Suits star Abigail Spencer, and Toronto-based stylist Jessica Mulroney all living in the U.S. and Canada, "Meghan wants to wait until her friends are in the U.K. for the wedding before having her hen party," a source told OK! magazine, per Daily Mail. "She wants a joint party with Harry and his friends."
So what's on the itinerary for this very of-the-moment coed bash? "It won't be anything too wild," the source shared. "They're planning a private dinner followed by games."
How do we get on this guest list?!
