It's a rom-com come to life—John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan are back together!

The musician and the "When Harry Met Sally" star dated for three years before their split in 2014, but sources are now reporting that now, three years later, the two are back on again.

The couple has been spotted out together over the past couple of months, including walking around New York City in March and visiting the Art Cliff Diner in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, in May. The two were recently seen in NYC again this past week.

Surprisingly, this development in their relationship came after an interview with Mellencamp in March, when he said in an interview with Howard Stern that his relationship with Ryan didn't end well.

“I loved Meg Ryan. She hates me to death.” Mellencamp said. “I think it’s because I’m a child. I throw fits, I gripe, I complain. I’m moody. Every bad thing that a fella can be, that’s me.”

He also added, “She just doesn’t want anything to do with me. And I can’t blame her.”

At the time of the split, sources reported that their long-distance relationship (Ryan was living in New York and "Cougar" was living in Indiana) was a major factor in their decision to breakup.

Lucky for us, Ryan must have had a major change of heart, because sources have reported that the two are back on again.

The two initially started dating in 2010 and both were previously married. Mellencamp and his ex-wife Elaine Irwin split in 2011; Ryan divorced Dennis Quaid in 2001.

“I was married to Elaine for 20 years,” Mellencamp said in his interview with Howard Stern. “Elaine and I are still good friends...Other than Elaine, of all the girls, [Meg] was fantastic.”
