The actresses turned fashion designers were spotted rocking head-to-toe black gowns while attending a friend's wedding late February—and these gals certainly pulled off the look. The girls attended the ceremony of friends Maggie Kayne and Travis Hayden in Mangawahi, New Zealand, and spent four days lodging at the illustrious Tara Iti golf club. The exclusive club happens to be owned by Maggie's father, Ric Kayne. Umm, where can we find friends like this?! Mary-Kate and Ashley were accompanied by husband Olivier Sarkozy, 43, and boyfriend Richard Sachs, 58, respectively.
Speaking of husbands, it's been a little over a year since Mary-Kate tied the knot with her longtime French beau, and she already knows a thing or two about married life. Recently, the designer sat down with The Edit to talk life after walking down the aisle, and, surprisingly, she's no different than any other wife!
Amid working on her fashion collections The Row, and Elizabeth & James with sister Ashley, Mary-Kate appears to have found the perfect balance of being wife and businesswoman. "I have a husband, two stepkids, and a life; I have to go home and cook dinner," she said of her daily duties. “I ride horses on the weekends. You find the thing that helps you relax and if you don’t have it, you have to look for it. Or you get burned out and then you’re not productive.”
The couple wed during in an intimate Manhattan ceremony in November 2015, as Vanity Fair reported. Sarkozy, a French banker, seemingly popped the question during Paris Fashion Week two years ago, which was when Mary-Kate was spotted with a humongous 1953 vintage Cartier engagement ring .
Now, the real question: When is it Ashley's turn to walk down the aisle?!
