Maroon 5's latest gig? Wedding crashers! In their music video for "Sugar" the boys of the pop band crash a number of weddings with surprise performances. A newlywed himself, Adam Levine announces at the start of the video: "Dec. 6, 2014, we're gonna drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can and it's gonna be awesome," he says donned in a tux and some sexy sunglasses.
Then, a number of Los Angeles brides and grooms get the surprise of their life when a stranger runs into their reception and props up a curtain, only to take it down moments later and reveal a singing Maroon 5, led by The Voice coach Levine. There were tears, screams, and a whole lot of expletives. At the end, with a guest-filled dance floor, fronted by an over-the-moon bride and groom, Levine thanks each couple and gives them hugs.

At the start of the video there's clear confusion. Adorably, the first bride's father, in defense mode, pops up to argue with the guy setting up the stage. But the second the curtain is pulled down and the band is revealed, the bride start crying, screams "Oh my god," and kisses her groom.
Last month the crashes made headlines, and now we know that the performances were recorded for the video. The band even invited fans on Twitter to partake in the video shoot. By the way: The whole clip was directed by David Dobkin, the brains behind Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson's famed Wedding Crashers.
With this video and a wedding of his own, it's clear that Levine is really feeling the love these days!
