With its obsession with drama, lying, and hooking up, it's hard to believe that anyone found love on last summer's reality hit Bachelor in Paradise. And yet, two contestants, Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul, defied the odds and smooched their way into the sunset — and a proposal on the finale!
Many months later, it looks like their made-for-TV romance is the real deal. At the red carpet premiere for The Bachelor's new season on Monday, the lovebirds looked happier than ever, and gladly indulged host Chris Harrison's questions about their wedding.
"We have been going to lots of different venues, and our wedding is planned for this year in 2015 — hopefully in the summertime," Faddoul said. "We're still 80/40 on the date, but, as far as our wedding, we're really customizing it," she continued, playing off of her ditzy persona on the show.
"[We] fall in love more every day," Grodd said. "We're just really happy being able to be close to each other."
"Everybody has been so supportive of our [relationship]," Faddoul added, but she wouldn't confirm or deny rumors that they'll follow in Bachelor franchise tradition and have a televised wedding.
One thing she would speak to? Future mini Bachelors and Bachelorettes! "I'm excited to start a family!" she said before her fiancé chimed in: "[Two] kids max. I come from a group of three, [and] we're hectic for our parents, so I think two is good enough for us."
