If you put folks from across the nation in a room and tasked them with naming "the most popular wedding songs," they'd likely all start out on the same page—or, rather, sheet music:

"Shout"
"Celebration"
"We Are Family"

But at some point, tunes will change. This week, Spotify, the ten-buck music streaming service that adult-you finally budgeted for, released a list of the songs most frequently added to their users' wedding playlists since the company's inception back in 2008. While overall favorites emerged, geographic preferences also became clear.

The Washington Post first reported the news with a ranking of the 10 most popular wedding songs in the country, followed by a breakdown by state.

Whether you're searching for a romantic first dance song, a down-the-aisle accompaniment, or a party-starting reception entrance number—take a listen through the list below. We promise you'll find musical inspiration and a lot of Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
