Dancing with the Stars pro Lindsay Arnold is married! The 21-year-old dancer wed her high school sweetheart in a sweet Salt Lake City ceremony on Thursday, June 18. Arnold and Samuel Lightner Cusick, a 21-year-old college student, exchanged vows in a small, private Mormon ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple around 10:30 a.m.
"I'm so excited to dance through life with Sam," Arnold told People of her now-husband. "I could never have imagined that when I was 16 years old I would have met the man I would marry and who would be my partner — yesterday, today and tomorrow!"
After their intimate vow exchange in the temple, the couple, who got engaged during a trip to Africa last December, exchanged rings in front of approximately 150 guests at the enchanting Sleepy Ridge estate outside of Salt Lake City. Arnold wore a chic vintage sleeveless dress by Moonlight Bridal while Cusick paired a dark blue suit with a deep red tie.
The big day was coordinated by celebrity wedding planner Danielle Rothweiler of Rothweiler Event Design — the wedding planner behind Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie's glamorous July 2014 California nuptials — who said she used a color scheme of pinks, cremes and golds to evoke a "romantic, vintage, chic" vibe for the celebration, which was expected to swell to 400 guests for the dance reception following the seated dinner.
Her bridal party was full of other DWTS pros, including Witney Carson, Emma Slater, Jenna Johnson and Brittany Cherry, as well as former So You Think You Can Dance contestant Brooklyn Fullmer. Other celebs in attendance were DWTS star Mark Ballas' mother Shirley Ballas and DWTS pro Sasha Farber. It's safe to assume that the dance floor must have been quite the hot spot during the wedding reception festivities!
