It's celebrity wedding season, that's for sure! Actress Erin Cummings recently married the love of her life, Tom Degnan from the show Limitless, in an absolutely gorgeous Indiana wedding on July 2, People confirmed. The couple said their "I do's" at the stunning Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the campus of Notre Dame, where they actually became the FIRST celeb couple to tie the knot at the famously historic church.
The bride, best known for her role in Feed the Beast, wore a beautiful off-the-shoulder gown which was custom created by designer (and bridesmaid at the wedding!) Rochelle Rodriguez. No celeb wedding would be complete without a second dress, so of course Cummings changed into a second gown crafted by Rodriguez for the reception. Her beau sported a clean cut black tuxedo to keep things classic.
As for the wedding party, there were a whopping nine bridesmaids and groomsmen to witness the couple's vows, one actually being Cummings' former Astronaut Wives Club costar JoAnna Garcia Swisher. Also starring in the bridal party was Cummings' manager and "bridesman" Todd Diener, along with the bride's mom Cheryl who filled the role as matron of honor. The groomsmen's side featured People v O.J. Simpson actor Billy Magnussen and UnREAL star Josh Kelly. Quite a starstruck guest list!
The bride, thankfully for us, shared an adorable Instagram of the wedding day, with an even cuter summary of their memorable day below. She wrote, "Words cannot describe the joy, light, laughter and love that @tomdegnan and I experienced this weekend. From Thursday night's fireside chats to Sunday night's fireworks show and all of the incredible moments in between, this weekend has been the greatest time of our lives. I will always cherish the moment I entered the church and saw the smiling faces of everyone we know and love, before looking down the aisle and seeing the man I always dreamed about before I even knew him. This was all worth the wait and now I understand when people said to never, ever settle. For the 150+ people who were still holding strong at the end of the night and were able to be part of that unbelievable Piano Man finale, I cannot even think of that moment without getting choked up. It was truly an unexpected and emotional moment that will fill my heart and spirit for years to come."
Ugh, where was OUR invite?
After tying the knot, the pair hopped on a plane to their honeymoon in Rome, Italy before traveling back to New York City to watch the play every human desperately wants to see RN — you guessed it, Hamilton. Not a bad way to start off a life of adventures together! See the sweet photos from their wedding day and honeymoon below.
