From Lily Collins' bold lip to Kerry Washington's metallic smokey eye, these award-winning makeup looks wow whether you're walking down the red carpet or down the aisle.
We went straight to the experts to learn how to re-create these A-list looks for your special day. Discover seven different wedding makeup ideas and find out what you need to pull them off!
1. Vintage Glamour
Emma Roberts' makeup is perfect for brides wanting a vintage glam look on their big day. To re-create this Old Hollywood vibe, celebrity makeup artist Lauren Andersen prepped with Honest Beauty Everything Primer ($27, Honest Beauty) and added an other-worldly glow to her cheeks with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder ($46, Hourglass available at Sephora). Next, she used Avon True Color Eye Shadow Quad in Berry Love ($4.99, Avon) to create a soft smokey eye and brushed on two coats of SuperExtend Winged Out Mascara ($5.99, Avon).
The finishing touch? Ultra Color Indulgence Lip Color in Honey Flower ($5.49, Avon) on her lips.
2. Bold Lip
Va va va voom! This look, created by makeup artist Molly B. Stern and modeled by Lily Collins, is perfect for fall and winter weddings. First, prep skin with a rose water mist and layer on Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum ($20, Lancôme) to quench the skin. Next, apply Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation in 090 Ivoire ($47) to even out tone. The matte finish is perfect for a long night of celebrations. For a soft glow, blend Cushion Blush Subtil in Sorbet Grenadine (39) on the apples of the cheeks and a bronze matte contouring shade to hollow out the cheeks.
Finish it off with soft dusting of a peach powder blush. Take eyes to the next level with Color Design Eyeshadows in Fashion Label and Ruby Velvet ($20). Line the base of the lash line with matte black and use a lash curler to prep lashes before applying two coats of Grandiôse Extreme Mascara in Black ($32). To re-create Collins' famous arches, groom brows using Sourcils Styler brow gel in Brun ($26.50). Line the entire lip with Le Lipstique lip liner in Sheer Chocolate ($25.50); then add L'Absolu Rouge in 359 Hypnotique ($32) at the center for a hint of sheen.
3. Metallic Eyes
Planning a winter wedding? Take a cue from Kerry Washington and opt for holiday-inspired, metallic hues on the eyes and keep the rest of the face natural. Makeup artist Carola Gonzalez used Neutrogena Nourishing Longwear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer in Smoky Steele ($9.49, Neutrogena) to create this modern, silver smokey eye. First, she applied the light silver (mixed with Mehron Mixing Liquid) across the lid, then used the darkest shade to contour the crease and accentuate the outer corners of her eyes.
Next, she lined the upper lash line with liquid eyeliner (from the inner to the outer corners). For look-at-me lashes, she applied Velour Mink Lashes and a few coats of Healthy Volume Mascara in Carbon Black ($8.49).
4. Seemingly Barefaced Beauty
For this ethereal look modeled by Karolina Kurková, iconic makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury began by slathering on her best-selling Magic Cream ($100, Charlotte Tilbury) to create the perfect canvas for makeup, followed by Wonderglow ($55) for a soft focus finish. Next, she applied Magic Foundation ($44) to give Kurková a flawless complexion, Mini Miracle Eye Wand ($45) to bounce light underneath the eyes and Retoucher Concealer ($35) where needed. Next, she lightly dusted Air Brush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder ($45) to mattify and shield off shine.
Tilbury swept on Filmstar Bronze & Glow ($68) to highlight and sculpt and Cheek to Chic Blusher in Love Glow ($40) across cheekbones for a luminous, fresh pink glow.
5. Classic Beauty
The foundation of all great wedding makeup looks? A flawless complexion, just like the one Mandy Moore sports here. Makeup artist Jenn Streicher used TEMPTU ($125, TEMPTU) to airbrush her face, neck and décolletage with the new Perfect Canvas 24-Hour Airbrush Foundation ($15). Next, she used Airbrush Blush in Blushing Coral ($30) onto the apples of her cheeks and then Airbrush Highlighter in Bronze ($35) along her cheekbones to create a warm glow. For her eyes, Streicher swept on bronze shadow and coated her lashes with lots of mascara to make the look a bit sultrier.
The finishing touch? A neutral lip, using True Color Lipstick in Tawny Spice ($24).
6. Simple but Stunning
In a look created by celeb makeup artist Lusine Galadjian, Victoria Justice's simple makeup lets her natural beauty shine through. She started by prepping the starlet's skin with e.l.f. Hydrating Face Primer ($6, e.l.f. Cosmetics). Next, she stippled on Flawless Finish Foundation in Sand ($6) to create a fresh and dewy look and swept the Illuminating Palette ($6) on her cheeks. To add dimension, she applied Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder in Fiji ($1.20) below the highlighter to sculpt cheekbones and to the apples of the cheeks.
To bring out her eyes, Galadjian used the Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette ($10) and finished with two coats of mascara. Finally, she gave Justice's pout a pop of color with Beautifully Bare Satin Lipstick in Touch of Blush ($5).
7. Smokey-Eyed Elegance
All eyes will be on the bride's eyes if she wears an elegant, smokey-eyed look like Jaimie Alexander does here. Her stunning peepers seriously are mesmerizing! To emphasize her eyes, makeup artist Jeffrey Paul filled in her brows with IT Cosmetics Brow Power Super Skinny Universal Waterproof Brow Pencil in Dark Brown ($24, IT Cosmetics). Next, he lined her lids with Liner Love in Black ($24), brushed green shadow over her lids and into the crease, and topped it with a touch of gold. To add the sparkle, Paul glided No-Tug Gel Eyeliner in Lucky Jade ($22, available at Ulta) along the waterline.
Then he used Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara (available February 16) ($24) to lengthen and define her lashes.
