When your groom-to-be is a jeweler, it's not the craziest request ever to ask for diamonds, diamonds, and more diamonds! And that's exactly what bride Gaelle Najarian did when she married Lebanese jeweler Hovig Yessayan.
Yessayan, who is the owner of Yessayan jewelry based in Lebanon, was clearly eager to please his bride when she requested lavish outfits for her pre-wedding and wedding festivities. For her big day, Najarian rocked an off-the-shoulder ball gown with a sweeping train, designed by Ashi Studio, which was covered in sequins — topped off with her hard-to-miss engagement ring and wedding band, diamond chandelier necklace, and other diamond accessories. The bling was (of course) created by her new husband's company. For pre-wedding photos, she wore an asymmetrical hi-low gown which was just as dazzling. In photos, she held a small white bouquet, with her groom rocking a dark navy suit. At the wedding ceremony, the bride wore her hair back in a low chignon adorned with diamond hair accessories, and while she didn't switch dresses for the reception, she did let her hair down (literally).
Najarian's bridal looks weren't the only lavish situation happening on her wedding day. At the reception, which was held at Biel Pavillon Royal in Beirut, Lebanon, the couple cut an 8-tiered cake with a sword — a famed Lebanese tradition — and hosted several hundred guests at their elaborate celebration. Think: full-wall photos of the couple, candelabras and chandeliers, a movie theater-sized video screen for their guests to watch the action, and flowers for days.
But her wedding day wasn't the first time Najarian wore lavish wedding accessories or the couple hosted a luxe party to celebrate her relationship. At the couple's engagement party last year, the bride-to-be and her fiancé put together a lavish affair that most would consider to be a wedding in size and celebration. At the fête, she wore an embroidered mermaid gown with a plunging neckline fit for a princess (...or a wedding).
The newlyweds honeymooned at The Four Seasons in Bora Bora, an appropriate choice to match their luxurious nuptials. See below for photos of Najarian's gowns. Sunglasses most likely required to stare at the bling for an extended period of time.
