This is going to be a very Broadway wedding. Two weeks after getting engaged to AYR president Zandy Reich, Lea Michele has taken to Instagram to announce her choice for maid of honor: BFF Jonathan Groff. The musical theater star broke the news with a snap of the two, complete with the caption, "Maid of honor 💕." As E! News reported, Michele also appeared to make her flower girl and ring bearer selections in the comments. In answer to her friend Gary Janetti asking if stylist Brad Goreski would be the flower girl, she replied, "@GaryJanetti duh and you're ring-bearer. Didn't @BradGoreski tell you???!!!"
This isn't the only Instagram wedding announcement Michele has made. In fact, she's been keeping fans updated on her forthcoming nuptials with a steady stream of posts on the social media platform—starting with the engagement itself. On April 28, the actress broke the news with a selfie and a statement caption. She simply wrote, "Yes," along with a ring emoji, drawing attention to the four-carat, pavé diamond–encrusted, radiant-cut, custom ring Reich had designed for her that she was flashing in front of her face.
Then, the week after, Michele took to her Instagram story with screenshots of FaceTime convos in which she appears to make the announcement to Scream Queens costar Emma Roberts and Glee costar Darren Criss. "FaceTime right after saying 'Yes'!" she captioned the picture of her call with Roberts. She also added a photo of the proposal, writing, "Still on cloud 9!"
Luckily for us, the actress had more engagement details to share off social media. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Michele showed off her ring and recapped the moment Reich popped the question while the two were vacationing in the Hamptons. “I was so surprised, I kept saying, ‘Stop joking around, stop joking around!’” she said in the interview. “I keep thinking it’s borrowed and I have to give it back at some point.”
