Why just have a wedding when you can have a wedding and a Glee reunion all rolled into one? That seemed to be the sentiment at the wedding of Lea Michele and Zandy Reich which took place on Saturday, March 9. The couple tied the knot in Northern California, where reportedly the bride's Glee costars were in attendance.
As reported by People, Michele and Reich are officially married, having wed this weekend. “We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family,” the bride and groom told People. “And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.” The couple also shared a wedding photo with the outlet, wherein Michele is looking the part of a beautiful bride. For the occasion, she donned a strapless ballgown wedding dress with a layered skirt, tied her hair back in a low bun, and carried an all-white bouquet. Reich, her now-husband and president of AYR clothing company, chose a dapper navy blue look, complete with a bow tie.
The wedding also sounds like a bonafide Glee reunion, according to Us Weekly, which reports that former Glee stars Becca Tobin, Darren Criss, and Jonathan Groff were all in attendance. The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, even officiated the ceremony. Last month, Michele shared with Brides that Murphy scored the gig. (And we're sure he did just great!)
Having a member of the Glee family serve as wedding officiant seems to be somewhat of a trend for the cast. At Becca Tobin's wedding in 2017, Jane Lynch had the honors of officiating the ceremony.
Michele and Reich's wedding comes one month after Michele's bachelorette party in Hawaii with friends JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and Emma Roberts, and less than a year after the pair got engaged in April 2018.
