It's almost been a year since the wedding bells have rung out for former 'NSYNC crooner Lance Bass and his husband Michael Turchin. And just how are things going for this dashing duo? Well, it certainly doesn't sound like they'll be singing "Bye Bye Bye" anytime soon! The still ridiculously in-love Bass just opened up to BELLA New York about his marriage and first year as a newlywed.
Doesn't it feel like only yesterday that we were all glued to our TV screens, watching them tie the knot in the "Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding" televised special? The 90-minute program — which marked the first time a celebrity wedding between two men was every publicly broadcast on American television — was as sweet as can be! And now, almost a year later, Bass is making us swoon once again with all the lovey-dovey things he has to say about his hubby.
"He's very supportive of me, and totally understands what I'm going through," Bass said of his super supportive sweetheart. "If I didn't have him, if I didn't have that partner, I would probably be going crazy right now."
"It's great to have someone who helps take care of you," continued Bass. "I love taking care of other people, but it's hard to take care of myself, so it's nice to have someone who has your back and wants to see the best for you." Aww!
Just a day before he officially tied the knot, Bass wrote in his BRIDES guest blog, "What I really love most about Michael is how much love he gives to my friends, my family, and even my dogs... That's how I knew he had the best heart ever." Sounds like nothing's changed!
