An engagement is born! Lady Gaga, who has long been dating her talent agent Christian Carino, finally confirmed that they're engaged. At the 25th annual Elle Women in Hollywood event at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills on Monday, October 15, the singer, 32, thanked her "fiancé" during her on-stage speech.

According to Us Weekly, while being while being honored on stage, Lady Gaga told the audience, “Thank you to all the loved ones in my life.” She continued, “[Manager] Bobby [Campbell], I love you. Everyone at table five. My fiancé, Christian. All the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day. And Ryan Murphy, thanks for giving me my first leading role [in American Horror Story: Hotel]. You know that Golden Globe belongs to you.”

The Grammy winner and her talent agent were confirmed to be dating in February 2017 after the two were spotted getting affectionate at a Kings of Leon concert. The agent reportedly proposed to the American Horror Story actress over that summer after asking her father, Joe Germanotta, for his blessing. Gaga has previously dated (and was eventually engaged to) Tyler Kinney, with the relationship lasting from 2011 to 2016.

Though this is her first time publicly using the term "fiancé" to describe Carino, the A Star Is Born actress has long shown off her stunning pink engagement ring both in public and during her shows. She even opened up about her love, describing his support of her Super Bowl LI halftime performance in 2017. “When I went backstage, Christian was by the stairs making sure I was okay,” said Gaga, as told by New York Post‘s Page Six according to People. “The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall.”
