If you really love your best friend, prove it with a commitment ceremony. Just take a cue from Kylie Jenner and her BFF Jordyn Woods. On the season finale of Life of Kylie, the duo along with mama Kris Jenner find themselves in Peru (casual), and during a visit to a shaman (a divine healer), the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan learns that a guy she's dating—now confirmed to be Travis Scott—is a pretty stand-up guy. Naturally, Woods feels a bit threatened by this, in fear that Jenner's new suitor will take her place. So, with a little advice from mama Kris, the girls come up with a plan to solidify their friendship forever: have a commitment ceremony.
So, with Kris as a witness, Jenner and Woods, clad in all-white alpaca outfits, exchange vows, saying, “I vow to love you through all of our adventures. And I vow to take you as my best friend." Just beautiful.
Although it's unclear how this famous duo met (possibly a little over five years ago), it's pretty clear their relationship is solid. But, being a best friend of a member of the highly publicized Kardashian-Jenner clan can be a little overwhelming. During an interview with The Cut, Woods opened up on the matter, revealing that her new lifestyle is the new normal (for her, at least).
"It’s become so normal for me that I don’t realize how different it is," she told the publication. "It’s something where, if you’re going out, you have to be conscious that there may be five grown men following behind you in a car. Or if you want to just wake up and leave the house, to be aware that there will be photos taken, people watching, and anywhere you go, everyone will be staring. For most people, that’s not normal. But because it’s just become a lifestyle for me, I can only try to make her as normal as possible."
