After an over-the-top proposal, an onslaught of news, and a nearly week-long romp in Paris (AKA lunch with Valentino himself and a rehearsal dinner at Versailles), Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally got married today at Fort di Belevedere in Florence, Italy, People confirms.
The ceremony was officiated by Rich Wilkerson Jr., a pastor from North Miami, and the entire event was designed by long-time family friend and event planner Sharon Sacks. As suspected, E! confirms that Kim's sisters served as her bridal party, while stepdad Bruce Jenner walked her down the aisle.
Someone who couldn't be more thrilled about the big news? Momager Kris Jenner. "Such a magical, romantic wedding!" Kris tells E! about the event. "I feel blessed to have my new son and his family as part of ours."
From the looks of a grainy Twitter photo, below, the entire Kardashian clan wore white to the grand, outdoor nuptials (how very British of them!).
As for the groom, sources say he suffered from a little cold feet. "It was funny how nervous he was," one onlooker tells People. "He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in."
However, that didn't stop Yeezy from marrying his love in a city very important to them: It's reportedly the place where Baby North was conceived.
According to E! News, the entire crew arrived at the Fort earlier today wearing white tops with black pants. Before heading to Florence, their family and friends were in Paris celebrating Kimye's rehearsal dinner at Versailles — the location Kimye pined after for their wedding venue. While they couldn't get everything they wanted, the fortress, which dated back to the 16th century and is known for its sweeping panorama views and esteemed art exhibits, seems like one of the most romantic places in the world to say "I do."
Stay tuned for even more details, which, we hope will include the low-down on Kim's wedding dress!
