You know what they say, something old, something new, something borrowed, something completely shocking! Back when she was trying on wedding gowns, Tanya Monaghan couldn't possibly have predicted that she would have to go up against a ninja, otherwise known as her 4-year old wedding guest, Rhys, when it came to walking down the aisle!
For most brides, walking down the aisle towards the love of your life is perhaps one of the greatest moments of the entire wedding ceremony. For this Irish bride, it was certainly a moment she, and her entire room of guests, will never forget. A video of the innocent incident, starts off by showing Monaghan as she heads towards the altar dressed in a gorgeous tulle wedding gown, TODAY reports. Before long, Monaghan's 4-year old nephew is seen letting out a war cry and dive bombing onto the train of his aunt's dress. A stunned, yet calm and collected bride, turns and smiles at the innocent fun, before continuing to walk down the aisle towards her other half. Talk about a crises averted!
But what exactly did Monaghan's stunned guests think of the incident? The bride's sister, Antonia Malone, commented on the hysterical moment by saying, "Tanya's friend picked him up and she continued on to marry the love of her life," confirmed the *Irish Independent *. Malone also added, "We had the most fantastic day ever."
When it comes to the different forms of wedding crashers, there are a variety of categories. Whether your big day is crashed by a pint-sized showstopper, the President of the United States, or a famous British popstar, there's nothing like a wedding day filled with surprises. That was the case for another Irish bride, whose wedding was crashed by none other than Twilight star Robert Pattinson (thankfully her train was not harmed during the encounter). The A-list star, who happened to be staying at the Culloden Hotel in Belfast, (which proved to be the same location for this lucky Irish couple's big day), was spotted by members of the timely wedding party. "About half a dozen of the girls at the wedding saw him at the bar," said the celebrity spotting videographer, "He was at the wedding venue for a quiet drink with a friend or work colleague."
Keep the camera — aka the iPhone — handy, you never know who's going to make an appearance on your wedding day!
