Here's one way to prove you're not afraid of giving birth: write a blog post on the topic while tabloids publish stories about how you're in early labor. On Monday, Khloé Kardashian did just that. Amid stories by TMZ and other sites that claimed she was well on her way to having her baby, the reality TV star took to her blog to explain why she didn't have pre-delivery jitters.
"I don't feel like I need to prepare for my birth by freaking myself out," Kardashian wrote, titling the post, "Why I'm Not Afraid About Giving Birth." "I've seen over eight births live and in person. Women were made to do this! It's a very natural experience. I read my apps every day and I ask my doctor if I have any questions, so I'm honestly not that afraid. Of course, I'm a little nervous to go into labor, but I'm trying to not overthink something that literally happens all the time."
Meanwhile, TMZ had reported that it was getting tips about Kardashian being in early labor. On Monday, the youngest Kardashian sister also uploaded an Instagram post of herself and Tristan Thompson sharing a smooch in the kitchen, captioned, "We are ready whenever you are little mama." Add the tips to the post to reports that Kardashian's OB/GYN, Dr. Thais Aliabadi, had flown to her location in Cleveland, per TMZ, and all signs point to an incoming Kardashian-Thompson baby.
As of Tuesday, neither Kardashian, Thompson, nor their reps have confirmed whether she's in labor, and on Monday night, the mom-to-be posted a Snapchat wearing what was decidedly not a hospital gown, Cosmopolitan reported. Of course, with her OB/GYN having flown into Cleveland, Kardashian very well may be giving birth at home instead of a hospital. At this point, it's all speculation. Either way, Kardashian isn't worried, so why should we be?
