Congratulations are in order for Keira Knightley — and not just for her Screen Actors Guild nominations for best supporting actress. The British star is expecting her first child with husband James Righton!
According to Page Six, Knightley, who has been married to Righton since 2013, is already more than three months pregnant. While at the Moet British Independent Film Awards, the 29-year-old actress who is known for her thin frame, donned a flowing embroidered knee-length Rocha dress to hide any obvious signs of her growing baby bump.
Knightley and Righton, who started dating in 2011 and married in May of last year, are clearly happily in love, so we're not surprised the couple decide to start a family now. "I just fell in love with someone who happens to be amazing," Knightley gushed of her husband to NME. "We had a beautiful wedding there was a lot of love."
Now the pair can share that love with their growing family! If Page Six is right, baby Knightley-Righton should arrive early this summer.
While she has always maintained that she would love to start a family at some point, Knightley has also been open about her intentions to continue working after having children. In 2012, the actress told Vogue, "I don't want to deny my femininity. But would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No. On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at."
One question we have? How will Knightley repurpose her infamous pink Chanel wedding dress (which she's worn on several occasions since her wedding) for her new baby? Your guess is as good as ours!
