If third time's not the charm, than the fourth time should be. Katy Perry and John Mayer are reportedly giving it another go at love — for the record, this would be their fourth time getting back together — after a rocky two years of on-and-off dating. And People reports, that they are fully enamored with one another.
Things began re-heating up between these two notorious lovebirds who recently shared a romantic double date with Allison Williams and her fiancé Ricky Van Veen. During their intimate couples dinner, Perry and Mayer looked very much in their own world, cuddling up to one another and kissing at the table.
"They are in love," a source close to the singers told the magazine. "They missed each other."
While they called it quits last time do to Perry's busy career, they seem to be really committed this go-round. "They seem very happy about being back together again," says another insider, who noted that their connection is undeniable.
For the two of them to finally make it work for the long haul, they'll have to figure out how to have a proper work-life balance. "They have to make time for each other and figure out how they can be together in a smooth relationship," the source added.
Will this fourth do-over be the final one? Only time will tell. But we do recall last time that an engagement seemed undeniably near, so we can only hope that this time they not only work but make it down the aisle!
