We all obsessed over Vanderpump Rules stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz's wedding photos when they surfaced on social media last month. And who could blame us? That gorgeous wooded wedding venue, the bridesmaids dressed in white, and that incredibly dramatic lace wedding dress... we still swoon. Speaking of dramatic, a just-released trailer for the new season of Vanderpump Rules gives a magnificent sneak peek into the long journey of drama that brought Maloney and Schwartz to the altar, where Lisa Vanderpump is officiating, because of course.
The above trailer, released by Bravo on Monday, shows the Real Housewife and restaurateur welcoming the couple's wedding guests "to celebrate one of life's greatest moments." Her officiating message of love stands in stark contrast to the flashes of scenes full of drama and contention between Vanderpump Rules stars, including Jax Taylor and his girlfriend (and show newbie) Brittany Cartwright — in front of Cartwright's mother, Taylor says that she's been "sitting on the couch for a year" while he takes care of her — as well as veteran Pump stars Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Marie Shay and Tom Sandoval.
The biggest shockers of all though have to be the pre-wedded fights between Maloney and Schwartz. Obviously thanks to social media, we know that these two did in fact say "I do" in that gorg California wedding, but these scenes definitely have us worried. At one point, Schwartz threatens to call off the wedding, and Maloney claims that his "d*** doesn't work." The two are also seen arguing at their joint New Orleans bachelor/bachelorette party, with Schwartz stating, "I'm not marrying her!" We've heard of fiancé fights before, but damn!
Okay, so these fights obviously give us equal parts anxiety and excitement — as all the Vanderpump Rules drama does — but one thing we just cannot wait for? Seeing the Maloney-Schwartz wedding on film, as now we have confirmation that Bravo covered the nuptials for the show. (Season five of Vanderpump Rules will premiere on November 7 on Bravo.) Reliving the Shay wedding of 2014 (and that epic parking lot fight between Kristen Doute and James Kennedy) can only hold us over for so long!
