Katharine McPhee and Canadian musician David Foster tied the knot on Friday during a ceremony at the Yeghiche Armenian Church in London. McPhee choose a classic bridal look by wearing a dreamy custom-made Zac Posen gown while saying, "I do." Later in the evening, she was photographed leaving her reception with her new husband—and it seems she made a quick outfit change during the night, opting for a romantic blue dress that felt reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour.
The dress was a strapless, tea-length design that McPhee paired with silver heels and the neat updo she picked for the earlier part of the celebration. An image shows her beaming as she holds Foster's hand; he stuck to an elegant tuxedo for a traditional groom look.

McPhee and Foster first met in 2006 on the set of American Idol, and even then Foster seemed taken with her talent: He actually predicted back then that she had "a great, great future ahead of her.” Just hours before the wedding took place, McPhee went on Instagram and offered a sweet throwback to the moment when they first worked together.
"Exactly 13 years ago today my very first single, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, was released right after Idol. Today... I’m marrying the man who produced it. Life is full of beautiful coincidences, isn’t it? Thank you for taking me over the rainbow, David. ❤️," she wrote in a caption that shows
According to People, the happy event included 150 guests, among them Foster’s kids and McPhee's wedding dress designer Posen. This marks McPhee's second marriage and Foster’s fifth—he was previously married to to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid, who is also Gigi and Bella Hadid's mother. McPhee and Foster have so much history together that even her first marriage involved her new husband: He actually played piano while she sang Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole's song "Unforgettable" at her wedding reception. Now, the two seemed thrilled to be together.
