Although she only knows that her reception will consist of plenty of tequila and tons of fun, Kate Upton does know where she wants to head for her post-wedding getaway. And it legit sounds AHH-MAZE-ING. Think we can tag along, Upton?
After revealing her engagement to baseball player Justin Verlander on the red carpet of the 2016 Met Gala, the supermodel has been planning her big day—in between posing for her third Sports Illustrated cover, natch. "We haven't done any details," Upton recently revealed to People magazine. "We are getting married, but it's really hard." Preach, girl. "Everyone's always like, invite whoever you want, do whatever you want, don't feel bad about it, but you feel bad!" Upton continued.
However, even with many of the specifics still up in the air, Upton already has drafted a list of wedding demands. And while some brides and grooms may disagree when it comes to certain big-day arrangements, we don't think anyone would object to Upton's wedding must-haves. The Sports Illustrated model recently took to Instagram to share her list of nuptial necessities: Fun, party, tequila, food. What else does one need, TBH?
Although Upton may not have all the wedding particulars worked out just yet, it seems that she already has a honeymoon destination in mind. But while the couple may be on the same page with their wedding plans, Upton's fiancé isn't exactly onboard with his bride-to-be's honeymoon vision.
"I want to go on a safari for the honeymoon so bad, but he's not…I don’t know," said the model. "Every year I tell him I want to go on a safari and every year for a gift he'll get me like a stuffed animal tiger. Or like flowers from Africa, not the same," Upton explained. "Like you want to go to the zoo?" No! She wants to go to Africa, damn it! Just take the poor girl to Africa!
The pair may not agree on an adventurous honeymoon getaway, but something these two cuties can definitely agree on? Their future fam! "We definitely want kids, but hopefully not anytime soon," said Upton. "But of course, you know, oopsies happen!"
