With their outlandish wedding and highly publicized romance, you'd think that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are living a real-life a fairytale. But, like any relationship, there's been trials and tribulations. Like, for instance, when the fashion community initially rejected his choice to date a reality star.
In an interview with Style.com about his latest design venture with Adidas, Yeezy opens up about his wife's road to style stardom.
West offered up his sweet side in this interview, speaking with exceedingly complimentary words for his Mrs.: Not only did he call her "the body of all bodies," he also said, "She was always my muse, now she's become other designers' muses."

He also recalled the long road back to making his fashion mark — and how he and Kim worked together to get where he is. "Every day I was in my mom [Kris Jenner]'s house, in my little brother's old room, Rob's old room, re-tailoring a Céline skirt, re-tailoring a Saint Laurent jacket, re-tailoring a Zara top, re-tailoring Wolford ..." he explained. "And day by day by day, [Kim and I] learned, we got better. We looked at the photographs together and she improved my style, we improved each other."
But the most adorable statement of them all, unsurprisingly, is about daughter North. "I didn't know who I was until I had a daughter," he says. "And then I realized that the purpose of life was to protect her and my wife at all costs. And that is who I am."
