You know what they say: A couple that trains together, stays together. Bachlorette alum Shawn Booth has been sharing his love of all thing fitness with fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe, and the star recently dished on his training regimen for the brunette beauty. Let's just say, Bristowe has been getting quite the workout! Though they each tend to workout separately, the couple tries to hit the gym together at least once a week.
“I’ll put her through a full-body workout,” the TomTom spokesperson told People. “We’ll hit the legs, core, arms, back—everything. I really like to do an hour-long [session] with her, just fast, hard, keep the heart rate up, and just get after it. We always do full-body workouts together.”
This sounds like a lot, right? Well, their training sessions are much more rigorous than you'd think.
“We do interval training; we do a lot of weights,” he continued. “We like to incorporate dumbbells, we do a lot of resistance band work, we work with medicine balls, we do a lot of movements that are body-weight only.... We really try to hit everything.”
Sounds pretty intense, but Bristowe never minds a good booty workout. “She does enjoy working out the glutes,” Booth revealed. “We really like to tackle that and do things like donkey kicks and resistance band work, where we strap the band around the ankles and the knees and do some shuffling.”
But, we can't help but ask: When is the big day? Since getting engaged on the television series, the pair have kept pretty mum about any plans to walk down the aisle. Wedding plans seem to be at a halt for the time being, as both have decided to hit pause. "We only knew each other for 10 weeks before I proposed," Booth pointed out during an interview last year. "We're both normal people, and the most normal thing we can do is wait."
