Back when Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake were first getting involved, they didn't kiss or have any real physical contact for a long time, thanks to the singer's intense touring schedule. But that slow burn definitely doesn't reflect the evolution of their feelings for each other. It turns out that Biel and Timberlake were super into each other from the very start.
The new details on the longtime couple come from actress Beverley Mitchell. Mitchell, who played Biel's little sister when the duo starred in 7th Heaven together, made like a true younger sibling and spilled the beans about Biel's relationship recently on Access Hollywood. According to Mitchell, Biel and Timberlake's mutual ardor was incredibly obvious when it sparked—a moment Mitchell says happened at an awards show.
As she tells it, "I was there like the moment the love connection happened. I was like, 'OK, this is happening.' They met, it was at the Golden Globes. It was so cute because they were like, 'It’s that moment like I like you, I think you like me.' It was very, very sweet. They were definitely flirting. They were really cute," she said.
Of course, that flirting led to a whole lot more when Biel and Timberlake got married in 2012, welcoming a son, Silas, three years later. But that doesn't mean the coupling was all too likely. Despite seeing it happen, Mitchell was taken aback by the pairing, all because of Timberlake's boy-band past. Of Biel, Mitchell says, "She used to make fun of me because I had been friends with all of the guys from *NSYNC for years before, and she used to be like, 'Ugh, you're going to another one of their concerts?' She used to give me so much crap." Ouch. Forget those boy-band dance moves; apparently, it takes a SexyBack to win over Jessica Biel.
