On Monday, Justin Bieber was simply following through on his commitment to scale back work to focus on married life, when a troll got in the way. After sharing a couple of intimate photos to his Instagram that show his wife Hailey Baldwin hanging out in bed at home, trolls found a way to sour the sweet moment.
“You are NOT in love with Hailey!"the account @JaileyIsAJoke commented. "You only married her to get back at SG, plus Hailey sleeps with men like @ShawnMendes for fame and she’s racist @wflig.”
Naturally, Bieber stepped in to stand up for his wife and be the supportive husband he is. "Ur immature the fact that you have an account dedicated to dissing my wife and I is absolutely absurd why would I dedicate my whole life to someone in marriage to get back and my ex, anyone who believes this is mean spirited or 10 years old or younger because a logical person doesn‘t talk or think this way u should be ashamed of yourself really,” the singer commented back in a lengthy reply.
In a real sign of maturity, Bieber did not deny ever loving his former flame Selena Gomez, but made it very clear whose finger he put a ring on. "I absolutely loved Selena she will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over heals in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has happened to me period," he said.
He wrapped up the post calling Baldwin his bride, and giving this person a much needed lesson saying, “Hailey is my Bride period if you don’t like that or support that that means you don’t support me and if you don’t support me your not a fan nor a good person, if you were raised right your parents would have said if you don’t have something nice to say don't say anything.”
Bieber put a second call out to fan to put a stop to this nonsense on his Instagram story. "Stop sending Hailey and I these messages if you love me screenshot and post this everywhere," he wrote over a a screenshot of him dragging @JaileyIsAJoke.
Hopefully real Jailey fans got the message and the couple can get back to enjoying their marital bliss and new home. The couple recently dropped $8.5 million on a house in Los Angeles following their whirlwind engagement and marriage. Bieber confirmed he had popped the big question in a gushy Instagram post back in July of 2018, writing to Baldwin, "So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindly." They got hitched in a civil ceremony shortly after, but have reportedly postponed a full reception a number of times.
Just before he posted the Baldwin model shots, Bieber got honest about his mental health on social media. On Instagram, he confirmed reports that he's going on a music hiatus to take care of himself and his marriage, writing that he wants to put his family first.
"So I read a lot of messages saying you want an album. I've toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realized and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don't deserve that and you don't deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour," he wrote. "'I have been looking, seeking, trial and error as most of us do, I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don't fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be."
Baldwin shared her support in a comment that said, "That’s right, love you so much it hurts!!!" It seems like time off is already working out well for them.
