Earlier this week, photos surfaced of newly engaged couple Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin crying and comforting each other while out for a bike ride in New York City. While the emotional display worried fans and ignited break-up rumors, Bieber set the record straight for the paparazzi with a surprisingly deep explanation.
The 24-year-old singer opened up to TMZ as he left 21-year-old Baldwin's NYC apartment Wednesday night and explained why he and his bride-to-be were spotted in such an emotional state. "Justin, for the fans who saw pictures of you crying—can you just reassure them everything is OK?" a TMZ cameraman asked the "No Brainer" singer.
Bieber, who just so happened to have a copy of Timothy Keller's The Meaning of Marriage on him, said "This," pointing to the book. "You've got good days and you've got bad days. It's not real if it doesn't have any bad days." Did Bieber just school us all on marriage?
The Canada native announced his engagement to model girlfriend Baldwin on July 9 with a sweet Instagram post where he called Baldwin the "love of my life" and promised to lead their future family with honor and integrity.
Since the news of their engagement, the young couple has been spotted doing everything together from locking lips to dining out to maybe planning their wedding to finally doling out marriage advice. These two sure don't waste any time!
