It's been less than two weeks since the latest member of the Duggar clan, Joy-Anna Duggar, tied the knot on May 26. But the wedding photos from Joy-Anna's big day with her now-husband Austin Forsyth have begun pouring in, and are just as pretty as you'd imagine they would be. Seriously—we want to side-hug these new sweet, snapshots of Joy-Anna and Austin's wedding day.
On Friday, May 26, Joy-Anna and Austin said "I do" after a short courtship—that's the Duggar-family approved form of dating, which consists of no kissing, chaperoned dates, and side-hugs only. "We were gonna go horse riding, and I decided to bring [my sisters] Johannah and Jennifer along because I knew that they would enjoy that, and they got to be the chaperones for this date," the 19-year-old Counting On star said in her engagement announcement on the TLC website. "So, Austin made this day really, really special, and he asked me to marry him, and I said yes."
Now, as we previously reported, these two are officially wed, tying the knot at Cross Church in Rogers, Arkansas according to PEOPLE. And, as featured in these new snapshots, their country-chic big day served up tons of totally Pinterest-worthy elements, from the bride's bouquet to her lacy wedding dress.
For starters, the reality TV couple kept things causal with a wedding invitation that featured a photo of themselves, barefoot and soaking up the woodsy Arkansas scenery.
According to PEOPLE, Joy-Anna's bridal party consisted of her brother Joseph Duggar's fiancée, Kendra Caldwell, (whom he proposed to at the nuptials!), her sister-in-law Anna Dugga, and sisters Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard, Jinger Vuolo, Jana, Jennifer, and Johannah. (Phew!) She outfitted her 'maids in blue-hued dresses and brown sandals for an added rustic vibe.
Not even Jill Dillard's husband, Derick, could resist the look!
But the bride's dress was of course the real stunner in the room. Joy-Anna wore a Renee Miller bridal gown for her walk down the aisle, featuring sheer three-quarter-length sleeves and lace detailing. "The dress came together amazingly," the TLC star told PEOPLE. And it even featured a family tradition. "We added a piece of my mom’s and grandma’s wedding dresses and a piece of Austin’s mom's," she said. "It was really sweet."
The couple finished their big day with something even sweeter—a six-tiered white wedding cake outfitted in orange and yellow blooms and a monogrammed cake topper.
Is anyone really surprised by the pure perfection of these wedding photos? After all those nuptials, those Duggars have wedding planning down to a science!
