Known for his always-awesome roles, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is taking on his best one yet — fatherhood! The actor, starring in this month's new dramatic flick The Walk, opened up for the first time about becoming a dad, and after keeping all the baby details rather hush-hush for so long, we can't help but coo over this news!
Ever since Gordon-Levitt welcomed a baby boy with his wife Trisha McCauley back in August, we've been dying for deets on this beyond-words-adorable little family! "It's wonderful and it makes me really happy," Gordon-Levitt shared with Entertainment Tonight. I am just so happy," he gushed. Can you get an Oscar nom for being a dad because, by the sound of it, the 34-year-old actor totally deserves it!
The ultra-private pair wed in a super intimate ceremony at the couple's home in December of last year. "You can tell he adores her," an insider told Us Weekly of Gordon-Levitt, after the low-key wedding. "She's beautiful and smart. Really one of those full package girls." And of course, this cute couple was just as (understandably!) stingy about wedding details as they've been about their newest little addition to the family.
"I'm reluctant to talk about being married because I'm married to a woman who doesn't like strangers being privy to her life and relationships," Gordon-Levitt told Playboy last month. "As much as some people may disagree, I don't believe a person's private life — even a person in entertainment — is a public performance."
Public or not, his fatherhood performance definitely receives a standing ovation from us!
