It seems as though there is never a dull moment in the Duggar family; almost every week there is a new addition to the ever-growing family. This weekend, Joseph Duggar stole the show from his countless other siblings and became a married man!
Caldwell wore a Renee Miller jeweled top with princess skirt at the ceremony while Duggar sported a navy three-piece suit, according to People. One of Duggar's many brothers, Josiah, served as best man, while Caldwell's sister Lauren was her maid of honor.
The young couple met through their church and began their courtship in March. Duggar proposed to Caldwell in May, the same night his younger sister, 19-year-old Joy-Anna, married her husband, Austin Forsyth.
“Our families are close friends through church and this has allowed Kendra and me to get to know each other,” Joe said at the time. "She’s the best!”
At the time of the engagement, Caldwell clarified that the difference between their engagement and their courtship was that once they were engaged, they were allowed to hold hands and say "I love you."
"We are super excited. It's great to not be courting anymore, now we're engaged!" Duggar and Caldwell shared with People magazine shortly after Joy-Anna's wedding. "I was definitely nervous going into it," explained Duggar. "But I wasn't afraid that she was going to say no, because she has said, 'I'm just waiting on you!' "
The couple recently traveled to Panama for a mission trip of spreading their faith and assisting in the construction of a new church in the community.
Until next time, Duggars! (Which probably won't be too long from now.)
