Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are now officially and ceremonially married! Less than a week after they formally tied the knot in a civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles, they exchanged vows again on Sunday on his private island the Bahamas, Little Hall's Pond Cay.
Us Weekly reports that they got married in a small cove on a white sand beach on the isle, which we're assuming is Amber Beach, the stretch of land Depp named after his love of nearly four years. Thanks to some aerial photos of the picturesque scene, we know that they set up a few dozen chairs set up on both sides of the aisle that led to an oceanfront altar.
The details don't end there! A source also dished to the Sunday Express about Heard's nonchalant bridal style. "Amber did her own hair and make-up and Johnny was as laid-back as usual. But there has been a genuine glow about them since Wednesday, when they officially became man and wife."
The source went on to add, "They wanted to do it all again on the beach and...(celebrate) with friends because they love the island and want it to be a continuing part of their lives together."
Included in the small number of guests were Jennifer Connolly's husband, actor Paul Bettany, and Depp's two children. Not only did those guests stay on Depp's newly re-christened boat Amphritrite (he recently renamed it for his new wife!), they also spent most of the destination wedding weekend hanging out on the beach, drinking, playing music, and snorkeling.
Destination weddings are always like fun, mini-vacations, and this one sounds like the ultimate. Now, where can we get our own private island?
