It's no secret that John Legend's tear-jerking "All of Me" ballad is one of the most popular wedding songs right now — and for good reason. But one lucky couple took their first dance as husband and wife to the next level with John Legend as their actual wedding singer.
As newlyweds Sunitha and Sridhar Reddy took the floor at their recent wedding reception at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach in California, "Grammy Award winner John Legend" was announced over the speakers. And, to excited applause and cheering, a tux-wearing Legend walked up to the piano on stage, launching into his well-known wedding hit.
At one point during Legend's grand serenade, the groom lifted his bride and spun her around the dance floor as the bride's long off-white gown sparkled and twirled around her.
The couple's wedding guests posted dozens of photos to Instagram of the glamorous reception, which included a greenery hanging from the ceiling over the dance floor, white-and-light pink centerpieces on every table and a six-tiered, jeweled wedding cake covered in white flowers.
This isn't Legend's first performance as a wedding singer. During Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's star-studded nuptials last May, Legend performed "All of Me," which he also sang at his own wedding to wife Chrissy Teigen in September 2013. Supermodel Teigen is featured in the "All of Me" music video, which gives a glimpse into the couple's adorable love life, including a sweet scene from their actual Lake Como wedding at the end of the video. Oh, and let's not forget Legend's memorable performance of the ballad at the wedding for his and Teigen's dogs, Puddy and Pippa.
