Singer and soon-to-be dad John Legend is an expert when it comes to putting us at ease with his tender ballads, and it looks like he's putting forth the same relaxed ease when it comes to fatherhood advice. The Grammy winner and husband to expectant supermodel Chrissy Teigen couldn't help but gush about his approach to parenthood in anticipation of the arrival of the couple's first child!
When they're not taking the world by storm with their killer red carpet couple style, or sharing relationshipgoals photos on social media, this stunning Hollywood twosome is prepping for the arrival of their baby girl! Proving that fatherhood is going to be yet another one of the dad-to-be's many natural talents, Legend recently sat down with E! News to discuss his true feelings toward parenthood. "I feel like, my mentality is just to be open and ready to help with whatever I can," said the Oscar winner, "and to be as loving to my wife and to our daughter as much as possible."
Teigen's other half also kept things genuine when discussing the unknown aspects of parenthood. "I don't know how you can be ready. We're focused on getting the house ready because we just moved into a new place," Legend said. "But you know, you don't really know how it's going to go until it happens."

When it comes to baby names, this stunning duo seems to be just as open. Legend recently discussed he and his forever love's decision to wait to pick a name until the birth of their new baby girl. "We're thinking about it all the time, the baby names," Legend joked, adding, "We both have opinions, and we agree on a lot of things so it's just a matter of when we see her." And when it comes to choosing a name the twosome can both agree on? Legend isn't worried about that one either! "Our taste is very similar about a lot of things, though, like when we're decorating the house, it's similar, when we decide what we're going to eat, it's similar. So I think baby names, isn't that different."

So what do these to have on the docket for life as new parents? Legend revealed that he is ready to take a much-needed paternity leave. "I think paternity leave is good. I think it's good for me to be home with Chrissy and helping her with whatever she needs," added the dad-to-be, "and I want to get to know our little baby!" Even though the "All of Me" singer is anxious to get started, Legend is very aware that work is going to have to "slow down" once their new bundle of joy officially arrives. "It'll be interesting to see how we discover the work-life balance now that we've had a baby," he said.
