John Krasinski just gave us another reason to believe in true love. While accepting the Best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie award for his move A Quiet Place at the 2019 Critics' Choice Awards Sunday night, Krasinski couldn't help but gush over his wife, Emily Blunt.
"I want to say thank you to all the incredible kindness that has been shown to this film," the actor explained. "The critics, but most of all, everyone out there that's seen or loved this movie. It means the absolute world to our crew and to our cast."
He continued: "I got to make a movie about a love story and a love letter to my kids. I got to do it with the love of my life by my side, so I'm pretty sure it doesn't get much better than that. Thank you so much." Before leaving the stage he shared a sweet hug with his wife.
The couple, who have been married since 2010, share daughters Hazel, four, and Violet, two and continue to be couple goals. Blunt previously spoke to Seth Meyers about her first interaction with Krasinski and how it was love at first sight.
"We were in a restaurant, he was also in a restaurant, I was sitting with a mutual friend," she said. "We were talking, and discussing how much I was enjoying being single, and then she goes, 'Oh my God, there's my friend John!' And that was it."
After Meyers pressed for more detail, she obliged by saying "He was actually sitting with our friend Justin Theroux. And then he abandoned Justin and came over to come and talk to us, and he just stood there, and made me laugh. He just did a bit."
And just like that, we're totally fan-girling over these two once again.
