Congratulations are in order for country singer Jillian Jacqueline, who married her guitarist, Bryan Brown, in Nashville on Saturday.
They walked down the aisle in front of 150 guests at the Ruby event venue in Tennessee’s famed music city. People reports. Despite choosing a spring date for her wedding, she stayed away from the traditional colors that are usually associated with the season, opting instead to include some of her favorites: Gold, mustard, burgundy and hunter green.
“I liked opting for more bold colors instead of the traditional spring pastels,” Jillian Jacqueline told People. The theme, she explained, was, “Sort of bohemian art deco greenhouse … colorful velvet couches, vintage rugs, rattan, lots of Birds of Paradise plants. The only flowers will be my bouquet; everything else is greenery.” She chose initially chose the venue because of its “high ceilings and white plaster walls,” that made it feel “calm and open.”
Jacqueline’s bridal vibe was “elegant and classy,” so she opted for a dress with an “old Hollywood silk silhouette.” It was only the fifth one she tried on, People reports.
Food was a “huge priority” for the couple, and they served lamb skewers, Thai spring rolls, and a make-your-own-mini hamburgers, plus the choice of filet, prawn or grilled halibut for dinner. As for dessert, guests were treated to chocolate wedding cake with buttercream icing and an ice cream sundae bar. The couple wrote their own vows, and danced to “She Chose Me” by Randy Newman.
The couple were introduced by Brown’s brother, and have been dating since 2017. He popped the question in Paris in March 2018, but they knew their relationship was a “forever” one from the very beginning,” Jacqueline told People. “As cliché as it sounds, we both really knew very early on that we would get married,”. “We knew we would want to be together regardless, so almost three years in felt like a good time to solidify forever.”
