Break open the baby book because Jessica Alba and Cash Warren need your help! The couple is currently pregnant with baby number three and are having a hell of a time choosing a moniker for their little one. Alba just revealed what her husband wants to name their baby and, oh boy, is it a doozy. These two could clearly use all the help they can get!
During her appearance on The Tonight Show on Wednesday night, Alba and host Jimmy Fallon chatted about her mom-to-be status. Back in July, the actress and Honest Company founder announced her pregnancy via an Instagram boomerang featuring herself and her daughters, nine-year-old Honor and six-year-old Haven, holding black 1, 2, and 3 -numbered balloons as the mama-to-be cradles her teeny baby bump. "[Warren] and I are officially going to be outnumbered," she captioned the precious pic.
Now, well into her third pregnancy and after learning the gender of her little one, Alba and her hubby, Cash Warren, are currently in the process of deciding what to call their baby boy—and it actually sounds pretty complicated. Because her husband's first name is an actual word, the couple wants all their children's names to share that same trait, Alba explained to Fallon. Oh, and all the names have to start with the letter H. Okay, sure, why not?
After rejecting some of Fallon's suggestions (which included Wee Willy Warren. Seriously...), Alba shared her husband's top pick.
"He was like, 'We should name it Dick with a silent H,'" she told the host. Oh no. Honey. You...You can't do that to a child. Please, just...no.
Luckily for her unborn baby, Alba isn't a fan of Dick (sorry, Hdick...). "I'm like...No," said the actress. "That's a terrible, terrible name."
We have to ask, is there a story behind Warren's bizarre choice? "He thinks it's like old school or something," Alba explained, which Fallon surprisingly agreed with! "Dick Warren sounds cool," said Fallon. "That could be like a detective...like an old-timey detective."
"Don't encourage him," Alba insisted.
Yes! Please don't!
