Jessa Duggar and her new husband Ben Seewald may have been reluctant to share their first kiss in public, but now that they're married, they're more than happy to lock lips for all to see! Case in point: Jessa shared a photo of the pair smooching with her 643,115 Instagram followers.
"It's great living life with your best friend!" she captioned the black-and-white picture of their newlywed bliss.
Like the rest of the Duggar family, Jessa and Ben reserved the majority of their physical interactions until marriage, opting only to "side hug" while dating and hold hands once they were engaged. So when they waited even longer to share their very first kiss, it certainly came as a shock to fans of the popular TLC reality star.
But for others, their decision to wait was seen as refreshing. Growing Pains alum Kirk Cameron had nothing but praise to offer the young couple for putting their strong Christian faith above all else. "We flew to the Duggar hometown, not only to be part of the fun and excitement of honoring this precious couple, but as a father, I want my daughters to see what it looks like when a couple reserves their 'first kiss' for the altar. Wow! This kind of moral excellence and purity is rare today, but our sons and daughters are priceless," he wrote on Facebook.
Now, it's clear, though, that the happy husband and wife are making up for lost time — and sharing as many very public kisses as possible!
