Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg had a refreshingly normal, hometown wedding when they tied the knot almost two months ago. And now, it appears that their life as a married couple has remained equally as down-to-earth.
How does the pair of '90s heartthrobs enjoy each other's company now that they're husband and wife? "Jenny and I have hot chocolate together every night," Wahlberg told People at an event for a Keurig coffee pop-up in New York last week. "I know a cup of hot chocolate doesn't sound glamorous but it's those quiet moments with us as a family that are my favorite. We have our own things during the day, but this is our time to cuddle up and catch up on our days."
In fact, that kind of low-key activity is the norm for the couple of more than a year. "I know it may seem like we're extroverts because we spend so much time in front of the camera and we'll talk openly about our lives, but Jenny and I are real homebodies," he added. "We're not really party people. If we had our way, we would just lay in bed all day watching Naked & Afraid."
Wahlberg added that he and McCarthy still have yet to go on their honeymoon, which will take place at an undisclosed, "not cold" location. "We're looking forward to getting away, relaxing and spending some uninterrupted time together ... with hot chocolates every night," he said.
