Jennifer Lawrence Just Revealed Some Major Wedding Details

Jennifer Lawrence has had an engagement ring on her finger since February, but she has kept most of her wedding planning under wraps. But, it turns out the Dark Phoenix star is further along in the planning process than we thought—she has already said yes to a dress and secured a venue!

The actress recently got candid with Catt Sadler on her podcast, NAKED with Catt Sadler, sharing more details about her impending nuptials with fiancé Cooke Maroney. It turns out, Lawrence is actually a very calm, low-key bride. When Sadler asked Lawrence if she was nervous about her wedding day, the actress casually responded with, "No, not really. I've been in a good place. I haven't been neurotic about it. I'm like too lazy to be neurotic."

For the star, picking a dress and a venue seemed to be fairly easy. "I saw a dress I liked, I was like, 'That's the dress.' I saw a venue, I was like, 'Cool, we got the venue.'," she said. We have yet to know exactly what the dress looks like and where the venue is, but we have no doubt that her wedding dress will be classic, elegant, and very on-trend. Perhaps similar to the long-sleeved, deep-V L. Wells Bridal gown she wore to her engagement party in May?

Lawrence also shared that marriage was not on her mind before she met Maroney. "I definitely wasn't at a place where I was like I'm ready to get married," recalled the star. "I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully and you know, he's my best friend. I feel very honored to become a Maroney." She went on to say that she will like take his last name as well. "I want to legally bind him to me forever and, fortunately, the paperwork exists for such a thing," she told Sadler. "It's the greatest. You find your favorite person on the planet, you're like, 'You can't leave.' So, I wanted to take up on that offer." However, when it comes to her stage name, she will remain Jennifer Lawrence. (Mrs. Maroney does have a nice ring to it though!)

Her affection for her fiancé is nothing knew. At the Dark Phoenix premiere on June 4, she gushed to Entertainment Tonight about her soon-to-be husband saying, "Well, he's just the best person I've ever met in my whole life. It was a very, very easy decision."

And while wedding planning has been fairly a breeze so far, she did mention to Sadler a very relatable experience. Lawrence decided very last-minute that she wanted to have a bachelorette party. But because of her quick decision, none of her friends could make it during the proposed weekend, causing the actress's emotions to get the best of her. "I've cried. I've officially joined the club," she joked. Lawrence wouldn't be a bride if a few tears aren't shed during the process. We're just glad that the wedding is coming together nicely, and she is madly in love.
