It take a lot of work to keep the spark alive in a marriage, just ask Jenna Dewan-Tatum. The actress, who's married to Channing Tatum (but you probably knew that already), co-hosted Thursday's episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan, and opened up about juggling both parenthood and romance.
“I think we work hard,” Dewan told Seacrest when he asked how she and her hubby keep their marriage intact. “Having a kid changes everything, your entire life is changed. But I think we try to have fun still, which I think is a big … I think having a kid you have so much joy but do you really have fun? It can just be a lot of work, it can be tough. So we do a lot of trips. We do a lot of adrenaline trips. We go camping.”
She continued, “I would say it’s like 10 years together in Hollywood is like 45 in the outside world. First, we’re really boring, to be honest. So there’s really no scandal. You can try your hardest and you wouldn’t find anything. They don’t leave their house, they watch Game of Thrones, and … they’re kind of weird, but they don’t do anything scandalous.”
"We're like, this is gonna be really cool, it's got dancing, she's gonna love it," said Channing. "Within 10 seconds she was like, 'Can I watch a real movie? I don't know, like a good one?' And we were like, '...This is a real movie! This is such a real movie they made like seven more of these things! You will watch it! Sit down!' And then like 10 more seconds went by and she was like, 'Please can I watch a real movie?' And we were like, 'Fine! Just put on Moana, I don't even care.'"
Give it another chance, Everly!
