After a romantic wedding and three-year-long engagement a romantic honeymoon is just what actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler and new husband Cutter Dykstra needed. The two opted to take advantage of the always-popular mini-moon, a shorter vacation right after the wedding usually with a longer honeymoon a few months away, in romantic sunny Santa Barbara, California.
The two celebrated their new husband and wife status with some well deserved ocean-side cuddling. People posted the exclusive snaps of the two soaking up enough sun that every East Coaster is experiencing major weather envy— on top of the relationship envy Sigler and Dykstra are giving. The pics showcase the lovebirds enjoying their newlywed status — and we can't help but wonder if their adorable son Beau was vacationing with the two.
Ever since these lovebirds posted an Instagram of them getting their marriage license, it seems like they have relationship news to share every day. In fact, just a few days after announcing that they had said "I do," Sigler also revealed her 15-year struggle with multiple sclerosis (MS). "I'm at a point in my life with my son, with my new marriage, it's a new me. I don't want to hold a secret where it feels like I have something to be ashamed of or have something to hide," she said. "It's part of me, but it's not who I am."
The newlyweds wanted to make sure they had a wedding ceremony that totally fit their laid-back vibe, opting for a "handmade" romantic ceremony. "We put so much heart and love into it," Sigler, who searched places like Etsy and Home Goods for her wedding décor, told People. "We wanted laid-back, not fancy, because that's who we are as a couple." A wonderland look was totally achieved, the venue grounds were transformed with blankets and pillows everywhere, string lights and candles. "I just wanted it to feel like a wonderland with candlelight," said the bride.
The former Sopranos actress walked down the aisle a little over a week ago in a gorgeous strapless sweetheart Oscar de la Renta gown for their quiet Palm Springs ceremony. Unlike some brides who want to shop with an entourage, Sigler went a much more low-key route taking one person with her — her mom. The wedding was a total family affair, the couple's son Beau walked down the aisle before Sigler with an adorable sign that read "Here comes my mommy." And Sigler's longtime BFF Lance Bass officiated the nuptials.
