Where does one honeymoon after already falling in love in paradise? That tough question falls upon the shoulders of newlyweds Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, after getting engaged on Bachelor in Paradise and tying the knot in a televised wedding special. But after watching every second of their nuptials—from their tearjerking vows to their first dance—we have a feeling that no matter where they go, every day will be a paradise for these newlyweds!
The dress! The guests! Those "I do's!" We've been dreaming up the details of Jade and Tanner's wedding since the announcement that they'd be tying the knot on The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love special (actually, since Tanner popped the question to the brunette beauty back in Mexico, if we're being completely honest). Although they didn't go for our idea of a Bachelor-inspired red rose bouquet (Jade went with white), their California wedding at the St. Regis Monarch Beach made us fall even more in love with the Bachelor in Paradise couple—and we didn't even think that was possible.
Getting an on-screen invite to the wedding of these two Bachelor Nation alums was the sweetest Valentine's Day treat we could think of and we devoured every moment of Sunday's special like a heart-shaped box of chocolates. Relive some of our favorite parts of Jade and Tanner's uber-romantic nuptials, below (you'll be a #JannerForever fan in no time!).
A televised wedding deserves a dress that'll get the whole world talking, and a custom-made couture confection will do just that! Jade donned a luxe Galia Lahav bridal gown, featuring a lovely lace bodice, sultry V-neckline, an open back, and a cathedral length veil. Totally swoon-worthy.
Jade and Tanner's wedding reception was basically a Bachelor Nation reunion, with the guest list including Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiancé Shawn Booth, Trista and Ryan Sutter, Andrew Firestone, Andi Dorfman, Chris Soules, and Bachelor Ben Higgins. Even Jade's bridal party was Bachelor-approved! The bride's Bachelor in Paradise co-star Carly Waddell served as bridesmaid and performed a song written especially for her lovebird pals. And of course, a Bachelor wedding wouldn't be complete without host Chris Harrison, who officiated the ceremony.
By the end of their vows, we were shouting "I do," too! Tanner told Jade, "From the moment we met, it was over for me. My heart loved you even when my head told me it was way too early. You went from a girl I thought was cute on TV to my best friend in the entire world, and I wouldn't spend my life with anyone but you... Jade, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying you. I love you today, I will love you tomorrow and I can't wait to love you for the rest of my life."
Are you crying yet? Well, you will be! Jade replied to her about-to-be-husband, "There came a point in my life where I never thought I was going to get married. I had seen marriages in my family give their best and failed, and I became afraid to fully open myself up to somebody. And that is until I met you, until I experienced the love that you provide. Tanner, you are the love of my life... And I promise to love you all of my life, for loving you will never grow old." Pass the Kleenex, please.
Fireworks went off when these two lip-locked—literally! As Jade and Tanner shared their first kiss as husband and wife, the groom romantically dipped his bride in a passionate smooch before they headed back down the aisle as fireworks went off. Sparks were definitely flying!
The First Dance
How's this for a memorable wedding singer? Jade and Tanner were serenaded by none other than music legend Seal during their first wedded spin around the venue's ballroom. His song of choice? "Kiss from a Rose" (fittingly).
And of Course, All Those Roses
From the bride's bouquet to the reception's lush, blooming centerpieces, white roses were scattered throughout the entire wedding, paying homage to all those rose ceremonies that brought this darling duo together. Their ceremony décor was full of the beautiful blooms, which made all the ornate chandeliers, candlelit lanterns, and glam details all the more romantic. If any couple knows the importance of stopping to smell the roses, it's a Bachelor pair!
