The This Is Us cast may be turning into This Is Us, Engaged, but don't expect star Chrissy Metz to change her Facebook relationship status anytime soon.
Just last week, actress Mandy Moore was spotted out and about with a suspicious diamond sparkler on her left ring finger, with her NBC costar Chris Sullivan confirming to Entertainment Tonight that Moore was to wed her boyfriend—ahem, fiancé—musician Taylor Goldsmith. "She just sent out an alert over our family text chain, so I can't wait to hear about it," said Sullivan. Well, Moore finally spilled the engagement deets on the Emmy Awards red carpet Sunday night, officially joining the to-be-wedded ranks with her This Is Us costar, Justin Hartley. But don't count on Chrissy Metz to join the club. She just revealed that she's not in any rush to tie the knot.
With Moore now proudly rocking some serious engagement bling and Hartley planning to wed his fiancée, Chrishell Stause, later this year, you would think Metz would've been bitten by the engagement bug after seeing her costars get engaged. But Metz isn't at all antsy. While walking the red carpet at the 2017 Emmy Awards, the 36-year-old actress shared her future nuptial plans (or lack there of) with her boyfriend, Josh Stancil, a cameraman on their hit series.
“You might have to ask someone else because we're not in any rush to do anything,” Metz told Entertainment Tonight on the subject.
Oh well… At least there are two Pearson weddings on the horizon! While also attending the awards show, Moore shared her excitement over her new sparkler, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I'm a bashful girl and I didn't think I really wanted one, but then…I'm very happy with this. Because you can see my skin underneath. I like that."
Justin Hartley also teased his nuptial plans on the red carpet, revealing to ET, "We'll be married before the end of the year."
We're not sure what we're more excited for, these IRL weddings or the new season of This Is Us! (Obviously, we'll be crying over both.)
