The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, will be ringing in the big 3-7 on August 4. Naturally, she'll be celebrating with her groom, Prince Harry, but the couple actually has another important event lined up on their calendar for Meghan's special day—a friend's wedding.
Tim Rooke, royal photographer, tweeted about the August 4th ceremony between Charlie van Straubenzee (Harry's close pal) and Daisy Jenks. Despite the wedding falling on Meghan's birthday, this is one event the royal newlyweds can't skip, considering Rooke's tweet also confirmed Harry's role as the best man.
"Unfortunately I will be missing the wedding of Charlie Van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks where Prince Harry will be best man on August 4th in Churt Surrey as I will be on the beach. Can't do everything!" Rookes wrote.
Charlie attended Prince Harry and Meghan's royal wedding last May, and The Sun reports the two gentleman most likely began their friendship while attending Ludgrove Prep School. The future groom's brother, Thomas, is also one of Princess Charlotte's godparents. Both van Straubenzee brothers were even ushers at Harry's nuptials.
This is great news for us (more Meghan Markle wedding guest outfit inspo), but we hope that the couple still has room for some one-on-one time to celebrate the Duchess's birthday in true royal style. Plus, if Harry reportedly dropped over $10,000 on a christening gift for his nephew, Prince Louis, who knows what present he'll have in store for his bride.
